YOUM-E-ASHUR , THE 10th OF MUHARRAM TO BE OBSERVED TODAY

Youm-e-Ashur, the 10th of Muharram will be observed throughout the country and Azad Kashmir today to pay tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his 72 companions for the supreme sacrifices rendered by them for the cause of truth, justice and righteousness.

Tazyiya, Alam and Zuljinah processions will be taken out in all cities and towns across the country.

The country is in the state of high emergency and police and different forces are alert and established at different points all over the country. Entry and exit to the capital is sealed and vehicles are checked while allowing them to leave or enter.


Throughout the country police and rangers are deployed in the routes of the procession. Security has also been tightened in all the Imambargahs.


More the 30 thousands police officers have been deployed in Karachi while three temporary Crisis Management Cells have also been established at three different points.
 
Police pickets have been established on all entry and exit points of the capital where every vehicle is being checked. Hospitals have been asked to remain alert for any emergency situation.



In Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Azad Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan all roads leading to Imambargahs have been sealed and strict security has been ensured for the processions.
