The legendary actor Dev Anand died in a hotel in London at the age of 88 due to cardiac arrest on 3 December 2011 (4 December 2011 IST) . The actor has worked in 114 movies of which in 110 he played the lead role. His total career span as an actor was more then 65 years. His last movie was Charge Sheet released 30th September 2011. The actor won several awards including Civilian Honors, National Film Awards, Filmfare Awards, National honors and recognitions, International honors and recognitions.
